Cozy atmosphere, nice staff, good portion (not too small or big. Great food quality, reasonable price. my whole family really enjoyed here. I especially loved the light deep fried fish and scallops and crispy home-made potato chips.

My family and I were looking for some good seafood and decided to try the Crowsy Nest. The food was not good. It was GREAT! Huge portions, low price. Staff were great. Huge menu variety. I ended up with two huge pieces of haddock with my fish and chips, my wife's lobster sandwich and son's seafood chowder made me wonder how they do it. I don't know, but they need to keep on doing it. Eat here. Seriously. Don't go anywhere else. If it's a nice day eat out on the patio and look at the ocean. I wish I could give more stars.

Nice terrace, fresh seafood, but the taste was veeery ordinary. The chowder was very plain. In fact, the less delicious one during our trip. Just a lot of potato, some fish and several pieces of lobster. The seafood plate was ordinary as well. The baked potato, we ordered instead of fried one, turned out to be just a whole unpeeled potato. Why don't you cut it in four and bake with some salted butter and herbs? BUT the scallops were really delicious.

I found the service, location, and atmosphere to be very good and really liked how takeout orders come in paper, not plastic, containers. However, I didn't enjoy the food experience. We ordered four meals takeout to bring to the picnic tables by the visitor's center down the street. We ordered a scallop platter, combo platter (clams, scallops), a kids fish n' chips, and a kids fish sandwich. The first thing we noticed on the platters was about 75% of the plate with mediocre fries (at least they had skins on) and the remaining with a small portion of bland seafood. The fish had no flavor and a thin soggy breading (we ate it immediately so I don't think time was a factor here). The clams were decent but there were so few. Whoever prepped the scallops left the feet on and used way too much oil when cooking. I'd be willing to give them another try but would encourage them to increase seafood portions and decrease fries even if that means increasing prices. But, in the end this is just another coastal clam shack with mediocre (at best) food and nothing to differentiate.

This seafood platter was only 20 bucks. Service was great. Very quick service as well. Food was fantastic all home cooked food. Highly recommend!!
