This Bed & Breakfast has an extremely rude owner. A reservation was made ( and there was an error in that reservation), but it wasn't caught until the travel date. I contacted the online reservation booking site I use, who then contacted the Bed & Breakfast. They were told to have me them directly to speak with them. I called them right away and was told that the owner was away and to call back Wednesday afternoon. I called back to speak with the owner about my error and discuss what if anything could be done about changing the date to the correct date. He was extremely rude as soon as he answered the telephone. I was not asked the reason or details of why I was calling - he just began a rant about how he could have sold the room 3 or 4 times over and that he wasn't giving me my money back.I had not even had a chance to speak - and I wasn't actually asking for my money back. He was very Kurt and inappropriate to just assume what I was going to ask. I took great care in looking for a great place for my family to stay. Read all the reviews on many sites. Perhaps it's best there was an error - as I wouldn't want to subject my children to such an angry man.Check ALL reviews. Just because it is a small town don't think they will be "friendly".
First B and B experience...and enjoyed it very much...Room and common areas always spotless, and Tanya the owner, was always there with area tips, and a nice breakfast...Harmony house in a very handy location, and will definitely return!
Nice place to stay, the staff are wonderful people. If you stay, be sure to ask Heather for scrambled eggs for breakfast.
We just stayed here 3 nights in july 2018! The staff was so friendly and it was very clean! It was right by the ocean so we walked everywhere! We would definitely stay there again!
